'Starship Dave' finds star in Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy will star in Starship Dave, a sci-fi comedy from 20th Century Fox.
Variety reports that the story will focus on a group of diminutive humanoid aliens in search of a way of saving their dying planet. However, their mission is sent off course when the man-shaped craft in which they are travelling falls in love.
Peter Segal (The Longest Yard; 50 First Dates) is lined up to direct.
