'Casino Royale' / Sony Pictures
Mads Mikkelsen (King Arthur) will star opposite Daniel Craig's Bond as Le Chiffre, who was portrayed in Ian Fleming's novel as a banker for terrorists and criminals. The character, also known as the Number of the Cipher, is rumoured to have been inspired by occultist Aleister Crowley.
Now the only major role to be filled is that of the Bond girl, with Sony expected to make an announcement within the next few days.
