The Micah Barnett-penned script centres on a Las Vegas magician and escape artist who flees the country and takes on work for hire, namely breaking clients' loved ones out of prison.
He accepts a final job from the CIA - find a a master counterfeiter before the Russian mob can get to him - in exchange for his freedom.
Tucker last appeared in 2007's Rush Hour 3, reprising his role as Detective James Carter from the 1998 and 2001 comedies. Prior to that he starred in Jackie Brown, The Fifth Element and Dead Presidents.
