Teresa Palmer has revealed that she is still keen to star in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road.
Addressing online rumours that she would appear in the sequel, Palmer confirmed that she had been in talks for a role but was forced to drop out when she signed up for I Am Number Four.
Fury Road, starring Tom Hardy, has since been delayed and will reportedly begin production in 2012.
"As of right now there are no plans for me to do [Mad Max], but I'm a huge fan of George Miller and the script was amazing," Palmer told DS. "I think it's going to be an epic movie when it gets made."
Asked if she would return to the project if approached again, Palmer replied: "I'd be very open to it. The script is really compelling and I think it's going to be the best Mad Max yet."
