Director Joseph Kosinski has praised Michael Sheen for bringing a "different energy" to Tron: Legacy.
The Welsh actor portrays Castor, owner of the 'End Of Line' club, in the forthcoming sequel to 1982's cult sci-fi classic. Sheen has previously said that he was channelling David Bowie's alter ego Ziggy Stardust for the character.
Speaking to DS about Sheen's role in the film, Kosinski said: "His character was someone I was really excited about, a different energy in the movie. Michael brought so much to it and just really blew us away with what he did."
Tron: Legacy opens in cinemas worldwide on December 17.
