Weir rules out 'Master And Commander' return

Peter Weir has ruled out returning to direct another Master And Commander movie.
Russell Crowe, who starred as author Patrick O'Brian's Jack Aubrey character in the 2003 film, recently urged his Twitter followers to email 20th Century Fox and ask for a follow-up.
However, Weir told Digital Spy that he is "unlikely" to come back to continue the story.
"I tend to like to do one film of a type and then move to something else," he said. "That was a fascinating experience, but do I need to do it twice? I don't think so."
Mast And Commander: The Far Side Of The World won two Oscars and earned a further eight nominations in 2003.
