Neeson, who played Zeus in the first film, will reprise his role in the upcoming sequel. The star spoke to The Belfast Telegraph about the project, saying that he feels confident.
"I've only read half of the script and there is still some work being done," Neeson said. "They're on script ten, but I think it's going to be some kick-ass stuff and a very human story to it."
The actor was also asked if he thought the sequel's 3D effects would be of better quality.
"I don't know the answer to that," he added.
The sequel, entitled Wrath Of The Titans, will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman, whose next film Battle: Los Angeles opens in theatres on March 11, 2011.
