According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ted tells the story of a boy that made a Christmas wish that his teddy bear would come to life. However, the boy is now grown up and the bear remains at his side, hindering his relationship with his girlfriend.
Kunis, who voices Meg on Family Guy, will reportedly join the cast as the girlfriend. Meanwhile, Scott will play Kunis's boss.
Ted is scheduled to open in theatres in 2012.
