Fisher 'didn't wear bra for Star Wars'

Talking to the New York Daily News, the actress - who portrayed Princess Leia in the sci-fi series - explained that the sheer clothing would have shown up on camera and would distract from the reality of the film.
"Whatever I would have put on [underneath the costume] would have shown through. It was very fine material," she said.
"I asked George to explain it to me and he said, 'When you go into space, you're weightless and then your body expands. But your bra doesn't'. So he told me you'd get strangled by your bra."
