Eric Bana for Lincoln vampire movie?

Eric Bana is reportedly considering joining the forthcoming movie adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, according to FirstShowing.

The film, based on the novel of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith, will be directed by Wanted's Timur Bekmambetov.

The original book covers an alternative life-story of the American president, in which he secretly hunts vampires throughout his life, leading to his abolition of slavery and eventual assassination.

Bana will reportedly soon meet up with Bekmambetov to discuss his potential role of Lincoln. Tom Hardy had previously been linked to the character, but his part in The Dark Knight Rises has limited his availability.
