'Casino Royale' / Sony Pictures
The former Bond villain believes “people should not pass judgment until they have seen [Craig]” in new film Casino Royale, calling much of the media furore “nonsense.”
Craig has previously been criticised for being "bland" in press conferences. Lee added that in his opinion Pierce Brosnan is “by far the best and the closest to the character that Ian invented."
Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen will play Bond’s nemesis Le Chiffre in the film, with Eva Green as Vesper Lynd, Bond’s very first lady.
