Ouija is a movie based on the Hasbro board game used to communicate with spirits. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will centre around a family's adventures with the board. It is reportedly influenced by The Mummy and Indiana Jones.
McG, who directed Terminator Salvation and Charlie's Angels, made a presentation to Universal Studios on Friday depicting his idea for the movie. Breck Eisner (The Crazies) is also in the running for the job of director.
Other directors have made presentations as well, only to be turned down by Universal. Sylvain White (The Losers) and Pierre Morel (Taken) both apparently failed to pitch their ideas.
Ouija is expected to open in theatres on November 9, 2012.
