Jessica Biel has signed on to appear in Revolution Studios' sci-fi thriller Next, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Written by Gary Goldman (Total Recall) based on Philip K. Dick's short story The Golden Man, the film will see Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore in the lead roles.
The story focuses on Cage's character, a man with an ability to predict and therefore affect the future. With the FBI chasing him for his services to prevent a global terrorist act, he must decide between saving himself or the world. Biel will play Cage's love interest, who gets inconveniently taken by the terrorists.
Shooting is scheduled to begin next month.
