According to Showbiz411, the actor is in talks to write and direct the big screen versions of William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying as well as Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian with producer Scott Rudin.
He and manager Miles Levy are said to be in contact with the Faulkner estate to acquire the rights to As I Lay Dying, a project which has already gained interest from Fox Searchlight.
Franco will also move with long-time agent Kami Putnam-Heist to the Creative Artists Agency, explaining: “I’m being loyal to my agent."
