According to Shock Till You Drop, the horror sequel will reportedly screen to test audiences tonight in Pennsylvania, who have been provided with a story synopsis.
Scream 4 will allegedly find Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, return to Woodsboro to complete her promotional tour.
Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and reporter Gale Weathers Riley (Courteney Cox) are now married and still living in the town. Sidney revives her friendship with the pair and meets her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell).
Sidney's return coincides with the reappearance of killer Ghostface, who puts the population of Woodsboro in danger.
Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Adam Brody and Marley Shelton are among the new cast additions to the slasher franchise.
Scream 4 will open in cinemas on April 15.
