Two sign up for mammoth hunting epic

Steven Strait and Camilla Belle have signed up to star in Roland Emmerich's 10,000 B.C.
The epic drama focuses on a young member of a tribe, played by Strait (Sky High) whose survival depends upon their hunting migrating mammoth. When his tribe's hunters are enslaved and the princess he has his eyes on captured, it is up to him to keep the tribe from extinction. Belle (A Stranger Calls) will play his true love.
The film will begin shooting on April 24 with a view to release in summer 2007.
