'Date Movie' takes out competition in UK

'Date Movie' / Twentieth Century Fox
Starring Adam Campbell and Alyson Hannigan, the spoof took £1.29m, whilst Chicken earned £1.23m over the three-day period, bringing its total earnings to £11.04m.
Also opening over the weekend was Lucky Number Slevin, debuting in third place, whilst Oscar-nominated critic-pleaser Capote was left in the cold at the number ten spot.
