Abrams expects 'Trek 2' script in March

Speaking to Collider, Abrams admitted that writers Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will be turning in a draft when he debuts the trailer for Super 8 in two months' time.
Abrams, who oversaw 2009's well-received franchise revamp, again stated that he has yet to make a decision about returning to direct the sequel.
"It's a tough decision to make without seeing any [script] pages," he said. "That’s not to say that I don't have all the faith in the world in the spectacular writers. Damon Lindelof, Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman are awesome. My hope is that they'll write the script, it will be great and we can make a fun, exciting sequel to Star Trek."
Paramount has Star Trek 2 scheduled for release on June 29, 2012.
