The Fighter director David O. Russell is in negotiations to direct and rewrite an adaptation of the Boom! Studios comic, reports Variety.
The movie will star Vince Vaughn in the story of an undercover Drug Enforcement Administration agent and naval intelligence officer who unknowingly find themselves investigating each other for stealing money from the Mafia.
Marc Platt of Marc Platt Productions will produce the film alongside Boom's Andrew Cosby and Ross Ritchie.
