Bluewater's 'Sinbad' is optioned

Morningside Entertainment has optioned Sinbad: Rogue of Mars for development into a feature film.
The Bluewater Productions graphic novel, which will be written by Greg Thompson and Ryan Burton, with art by Jeff Cruz and Diego Simone, is due for release in April, reports ICv2.
Morningside was founded by Charles Schneer and Ray Harryhausen and produced The 7th Voyage of Sinbad in 1958.
The first of the planned trilogy of films is scheduled for release in 2012.
