Bon Jovi, Meyers cast in 'New Year's Eve'

The Bon Jovi frontman and the Saturday Night Live cast member are the latest stars to sign on to the sequel to the 2010 film Valentine's Day, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In addition to Bon Jovi and Meyers, New Year's Eve features an ensemble cast that includes Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara.
Like Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve tells the story of love and heartbreak experienced on the holiday. Bon Jovi will play a rock star who used to date Berry's character. Meanwhile, Meyers portrays a father that wants his wife (Biel) to help deliver the first child of the New Year.
New Year's Eve is scheduled to open in theatres on December 9.
