Cruz: 'Angelica was corrupted by Sparrow'

Cruz plays the new character Angelica, daughter of the legendary pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), in On Stranger Tides. According to Entertainment Tonight, Cruz claims that Sparrow damaged Angelica.
"Angelica had a relationship with Jack Sparrow and Jack corrupted her," Cruz said.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer also spoke about the highly-anticipated film, stating that McShane's Blackbeard will be the most diabolical character yet.
"Blackbeard is one of the most evil characters we have ever given you," Bruckheimer said.
Pirates of Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opens in theatres on May 20.
