James Franco names dream 'Dying' cast

The 32-year-old, who today received an Oscar nomination for his role in Danny Boyle's 127 Hours, named fellow Academy Award nominees Joaquin Phoenix, Richard Jenkins and Michael Shannon as possible stars for his latest directorial endeavour, adding that he may also appear in the film.
Franco further stated to MTV News that he had already begun preparation for his new project, explaining: "I shoot a test of the whole movie before I make a movie. So we just shot a test."
He has also expressed interest in directing an adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian.
