'Hunger Games' release date set for 2012

Entertainment Weekly reports that the studio has decided upon March 23, 2012 for the premiere of the film, based on Suzanne Collins's first book in a trilogy of the same name.
Director Gary Ross also told the publication that he plans to begin production on the project this spring.
It was previously revealed that casting for the movie would commence early this year.
