Kristen Stewart approached for 'Snow White'

Kristen Stewart has been approached to star in Universal's Snow White And The Huntsman, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The Twilight actress is said to be the studio's favoured choice to play Snow White in director Rupert Sanders's fairytale re-telling, in which Viggo Mortensen will star as the eponymous huntsman and Charlize Theron will potentially play the evil queen.

Stewart's Runaways co-star Riley Keough, Felicity Jones (Cemetery Junction), Emily Browning (Sucker Punch) and Swedish actress Alicia Vikander have all recently screentested for the Snow White role. Stewart's standing in Hollywood means that she will not be required to audition for the movie.

Stewart is currently filming the final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn, and recently completed work on the Jack Kerouac adaptation On The Road.
