De Niro, Pfeiffer join Gaiman's 'Stardust'

Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer have signed on to star in an adaptation of Neil Gaiman's fantasy novel Stardust, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Claire Danes, Charlie Cox and Sienna Miller have also boarded the Paramount project to be directed by Matthew Vaughan, who also penned the screenplay from Gaiman's book.
The story focuses on Tristian (Cox) who promises to acquire a falling star named Yvaine (Danes) in order to win the heart of his beloved (Miller). Pirate Captain Shakespeare (De Niro) and a nasty witch (Pfeiffer) stand in the way of the quest.
