Streisand, Rogen to star in road trip film

The pair will play an inventor and his mother who go on a road trip in new Paramount comedy My Mother's Curse.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair were offered the roles last summer but the film has only just been given the green light.
Streisand and Rogen are also part of the team of executive producers on the film, which will be directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal). The screenplay has been written by Tangled writer Dan Fogelman.
Filming on My Mother's Curse is due to begin this spring.
