The movie picked up the 'Outstanding Cast Performance' award and the film's star Colin Firth collected another 'Outstanding Lead Actor' trophy for his portrayal of the stammering King George VI.

Natalie Portman was rewarded for her performance in Black Swan with the 'Outstanding Lead Actress' accolade, while The Fighter duo Christian Bale and Melissa Leo won the 'Outstanding Supporting Actor' and 'Actress' awards.

There was also recognition for Christopher Nolan's Inception, which walked away with the 'Outstanding Performance By A Stunt Ensemble' prize.
