Paramount Pictures have acquired the screen rights to Maria Dahvana Headley's novel The Year of Yes: A Memoir.

The book focuses on a New Yorker who becomes tired of her dating life and begins to wonder whether she might be too picky. From this point on, she vows to accept all men's offers for a year, chronicling the amusing outcomes in her memoir.

Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen are producing, with a writer to be found within the next month.
