Speaking to Access Hollywood, the Glee actress revealed that while she would be honoured to be part of the project, she would feel intimidated taking on the character that is so strongly tied to Sarah Jessica Parker.
"Of course [I would do it]. I mean, who hasn't seen every episode five million times," she said.
"But then again, you run the risk of people hating it. I mean, how do you compete against Sarah Jessica Parker? She originated that!"
Miley Cyrus also expressed her interest in the role to the website, saying: "I would love it. I'm not attached, so I don't want to say that, but that would be very cool."
