Jessica Simpson has revealed that she isn't willing to take on any huge movie roles at this stage of her career.

The actress believes that she would be wise to perfect her ability before accepting a lead part.

"I'm not ready to carry the weight of a movie," she is quoted by the Daily Record as saying. "That's like going out on a huge tour when you are a new artist and having pressure on you to sell tickets.

"That's why we start out as opening acts for other performers."
