'Burn Notice' prequel gets release date

The film follows series star Bruce Campbell's ex-Navy Seal character Sam Axe over the course of his final mission for the CIA, and will serve as a lead-in to the television series' fifth season, which begins this summer.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the film's plot sees Axe sent to work at a local military platoon in Columbia where he discovers both corruption and secrets. It is being directed by fellow Burn Notice star Jeffrey Donovan, and also stars Chandra West as Axe's potential love interest, along with RonReaco Lee, Kiele Sanchez and John Diehl.
Burn Notice: The Fall Of Sam Axe will air on the USA Network on April 17.
