Telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced today that the Legally Blonde star has been added to the list of Oscar presenters.
Witherspoon won the Oscar for 'Best Actress' in 2005 for her role as June Carter in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line.
Her upcoming Water for Elephants opens this April.
Other celebrities signed to present at the Oscars include Jude Law, Oprah Winfrey, Annette Bening, Halle Berry, Oprah Winfrey, Hugh Jackman and Robert Downey Jr.
James Franco and Anne Hathaway will host the telecast, which will air on ABC on February 27.
