The actors will give voice to two new characters in the sequel to the hit 2006 animated film Cars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Izzard will portray Miles Axlerod, an ex-oil baron who now runs on electricity and is dedicated to finding renewable energy. Turturro will play a Formula 1 Italian race car named Francesco Bernoulli.
Director John Lasseter said that Turturro was Pixar's first choice for the role of Francesco.
