Tsotsi fans have gathered in Johannesburg for the Oscar-winning film's homecoming parade.
Fans of the best foreign language film winner met its stars at the city's airport as they flew in from Hollywood, then cheered as they paraded the streets on an open-top bus.
"Thank you so much for the massive support," said Director Gavin Hood. "The world is very excited by South Africa, and by Tsotsi."
The film – an adaptation of a novel about a young South African gangster – was produced by British film-maker Peter Fudakowski. He commissioned Hood to make Tsotsi and helped fund it through the UK Film & TV Production Company.
