Paul Haggis is in final negotiations to direct and produce Against All Enemies, Columbia Pictures' adaptation of Richard Clarke's book.
Written by the White House's former counterterrorism adviser, the book argues that the US government neglected to pay full attention to the Al Qaeda threat before 9/11, instead focusing on Iraq.
Variety reports that James Vanderbilt (Basic) will write the screenplay, with John Calley, Len Sherman and Larry Becsey producing alongside Haggis.
