The comedy, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen, is now titled 50/50, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The script was written by Will Reiser and tells his own story of being diagnosed with cancer. Gordon-Levitt plays the cancer patient, while Rogen plays his friend.
The film also stars Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard and Anjelica Huston.
50/50 will now open on September 30.
