Jonathan Mostow has opted out of directorial duties on Tonight, He Comes.
Although he will still act as executive producer on the project, Mostow (Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines)commented that he decided against directing when it became clear that he and the film's star, Will Smith, "weren't on the same page, creatively," Empire reports.
The Columbia Pictures drama focuses on a disillusioned superhero (Smith) suffering from a mid-life crisis.
Another director will hopefully be recruited soon in order to stick to the planned June start date.
