New Line to spread adapted 'Infection'

New Line has picked up the remake rights to Japanese horror movie Infection.
With a script adapted by Channing Gibson (Walking Tall), the film will be set in an isolated hospital in which the staff struggle to defeat a deadly infection which turns out to be of supernatural origin, reports Variety.
Takashige Ichise, producer of the 2004 original, is on board the project.
