'Unknown' helmer to remake French thriller

The director, who recently scored box-office success with Unknown, will team up with Eastern Promises writer Steven Knight for the update, Deadline reports.
It is not known when Red Circle will go into production as Collet-Serra will next be directing a TV series created by Oren Peli, the producer behind the Paranormal Activity franchise.
The pilot for the show, titled The River, is to air on ABC.
