Gerard Butler 'would star in movie musical'

Parade quotes the Scottish actor, who appeared in the 2004 film version of The Phantom Of The Opera, as saying that he isn't opposed to displaying his vocal talent on screen once again.
"I wouldn't rule it out," he remarked. "You never know when something will speak to you."
Butler also teased that he tested his singing skills at his 41st birthday party last November, saying: "I sang with John Mayer on my birthday."
He will next star with Ralph Fiennes in the Shakespearean adaptation Coriolanus, which is expected to be released in US cinemas later this year.
