According to EW, Leo, who scooped the 'Best Supporting Actress' prize at last week's Academy Awards for her turn in The Fighter, will play a mother who plots to get her health insurance to pay for rehab by getting intoxicated.
The Social Network star and Oscar nominee Eisenberg will assume the role of the overachieving son who helps with the plan, while 30 Rock's Tracy Morgan is to have a supporting role as the mother's drug dealer.
The dark comedy is a remake of a short film that also starred Leo and was shown at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
