The former boyband singer, who is also a judge on the Australian version of reality television show The X Factor, said that he is "very excited" to start shooting his first film in Sydney next month.
Keating told Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O on their radio show this morning: "I'm coming down on April 7, because I'm shooting my first movie in Australia. I just gave you a world exclusive actually.
"I can't tell you the title but I'm going to be on-set on April 10 in Sydney. It's an Australian movie... I'm very excited."
Keating is currently touring the UK with Boyzone, supported by fellow X Factor judge Guy Sebastian.
