'The Pink Panther' / Fox UK Films
The Pink Panther opened at number one in the UK box office chart last weekend, depriving V For Vendetta of the top spot.
Starring Steve Martin, the comedy update took £1.94m in its first three days, whilst the graphic novel adaptation earned £1.19m. The new entries forced last week's The Hills Have Eyes down two places into third.
A non-moving Chicken Little at four and Syriana rounded out the top five.
