Knoxville to star in 'First Man'

Johnny Knoxville is to play a man who is forced to reform his wild ways when his wife runs for president in a new film.

Paramount have reportedly bought the rights to the screenplay called First Man, Deadline reports.

According to the site, the 'first man' finds himself causing trouble again once his wife is safely in office.

The actor will be seen in his first scripted film since the knockabout stunts film version of Jackass.

The writing and directing team behind the film also wrote the forthcoming Ceremony, which stars Lee Pace and Uma Thurman.
