Stewart's 'Snow White' deal 'imminent'

Kristen Stewart is believed to be in final talks to take on the lead role in Universal Pictures' upcoming fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman.

Gossip Cop claims that a deal is 'imminent', although there has not yet been any official confirmation on Stewart's involvement with the project.

Stewart is believed to have been offered the part of Snow White weeks ago, despite media speculation that she was competing with Disney favourite Selena Gomez for the role.

Charlize Theron has already signed on to play the villainous Ravenna, while Viggo Mortensen has long been rumoured for the part of the huntsman himself.

Rupert Sanders is directing the film, which is due for release on December 21, 2012.
