According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal is currently in talks to pick up the script from Columbia as a potential project for the actor.
Called The Insane Laws, the script is partially based on Garelick's own life and tells the story of two best friends whose children fall in love and have a baby together.
Garelick is also working on a film version of the iconic nineties TV series Baywatch.
