According to Gossip Cop, Baldwin will take on the role of Dennis Dupree, the owner of the titular Rock Of Ages club.
The 30 Rock actor joins Tom Cruise, who will play rock star Stacee Jaxx, and the previously-announced Julianne Hough as aspiring actress Sherrie.
The film is being directed by Adam Shankman and is due to begin production in May.
