Phillips: 'No Sheen, Clinton for Hangover 2'

Todd Phillips, the director of The Hangover Part II, has announced that Charlie Sheen and Bill Clinton will not be making cameo appearances in the highly-anticipated sequel.

Phillips spoke to Entertainment Weekly, revealing his irritation with the recent rumours that Sheen was in talks to appear in the film.

"Somebody on some tiny little site made something up that said Charlie Sheen was in talks for Hangover 2 and then it gets picked up on every other site as a fact," said Phillips. "It's not true. It's so frustrating."

Phillips went on to shoot down the rumours that former US president Bill Clinton would be appearing in the movie as well.

"He stopped by the set because the Secret Service guys were like, 'Hey, that would be fun on the way out of town to stop by a movie set,' " said Phillips. "But you can't control what somebody writes on the Internet."

The Hangover Part II is expected to open in theatres on May 26.
