Summit to make BP oil spill film

The studio has optioned an article on the disaster written by The New York Times, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Partner Participant Media said: "This is a perfect fit for us - a suspenseful and inspiring real-life account of everyday people whose values are tested in the face of an impending environmental disaster."
A total of 28 workers were killed in the explosion on the Deepwater Horizon ship before the oil spill.
The film is to be written by Matthew Sand, who penned The Summoner, the forthcoming American by Blood and The Red Star.
